“Love Doesn’t Care Who You Love!”
A children’s book by Tracy Spring and Bob Paltrow

We’re currently working on the artwork for our children’s book, based on a heartwarming and whimsical song by Tracy Spring, “Love Doesn’t Care Who You Love”!—which spreads a positive message of love and acceptance that will resonate with children of all ages——AND their parents too!

Read the lyrics HERE.

The book combines the power of vivid imagery by illustrator Bob Paltrow and uplifting lyrics by author/songwriter Tracy Spring. The book is an affirmation about how the gift of Love—regardless of the form it takes—is the most powerful force we can wield to make ourselves, and the entire planet—more healthy, whole and happy! “Love Doesn’t Care Who You Love”, because love is acceptance and appreciation for all – no matter our color, size, shape, or beliefs.

Funding Bob’s beautiful artwork is the first step. Once the illustrations and design work are completed, we’ll ask for help again in a pre-order campaign to produce and promote the book—as well as fund a studio recording to be released via YouTube and other online outlets.

THANK YOU for helping to bring this book of unconditional, and inclusive Love — TO LIFE!

Developing the “Love” Character

We wanted to have a fun, compelling (and ok, cute) main character to personify Love, the mascot character for our book “Love Doesn’t Care Who You Love”

This video shows some of the sketches and ideations that led to the final character, ready for Love! As well as some completed work and work n progress.

Like any design, character design starts with an idea. Then a sketch. Then a tighter rendering. Evaluation. Re-evaluation. Playing with ideas until something ‘clicks.’ Then eliminating the extraneous details to magnify the essence. Aspiring for a Love character that is iconic and memorable and relatable. Is it redundant to say “We love Love?” We hope you do too!
